It has already been a year since we started our cooperation with Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG, headquartered in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Gallus operates worldwide as a reliable partner for label and folding carton printing. The Gallus portfolio includes printing presses, die-cutting units and accessories, screen printing plates and a wide range of services.
A central component of all Gallus presses is the UHMI (Unified Human Machine Interface), which enables the printer to operate the press. PHIOS supports Gallus in the further development of the existing JAVA HMI solution. We are also working with Gallus to develop the HMI of the future, using modern and platform-independent web technologies. This year, a PoC was carried out to demonstrate the feasibility and minimize the risks identified in advance.
In addition to development support, PHIOS also assists Gallus with topics such as agile development processes, release management and various other DevOps issues.
